Monster book mark.

This is how to make a monster book mark.
But first here is what you'll need...

                                                           1. printer paper

                                                           2. pattern or solid color paper

                                                           3. a glue stick

                                                           4. scissors
                                                           5. a ruler
                                                           6. a solid color for the eyes and black for the pupil
                                                           7. a pencil

First you draw three squares about 2 1/2 by 2 1/2in long.

then on the two squares the one on the top and the one on the bottom right draw a line diagonally so you have two triangles and shade the end you are going to cut off.

then cut the pattern out.

then trace it on to the paper you are using

and cut it out.

fold the two triangles over each other.

and glue the top one to the bottom one.

it will look like this.

the cut out the corner of the pattern paper and glue it on top.

cut out two eyes out of printer paper and glue them on.

then glue on some colored paper on top.

then black for the pupil.

then using the corner of some printer paper draw teeth and cut them out and glue it to the top of the inside of the monster

illustration Friday: safari

So this week for illustration Friday was safari so I thought to just do a few safari animals.   

      

   I thought I would just do a giraffe, but then I thought a zebra would be cool, and then I thought well, "why not a hippo?"  So I did them.  I call it "sleepy time safari"

It has been really nice out lately so I decided to go out 

and take some pictures of all the signs of spring I could find.

We have a lot of cherry blossoms in our yard so i thought this would be good.

 We also have daffodils in our yard as well.  I just think daffodils are pretty.

Plus I really like the white ones.

And this forsythia was all in bloom and pretty.

When we went to ridding lessons it was nice enough to go out in the outdoor areana

Pi Day!!!!

We did a lot of stuff for pi day, like we wore polka dot socks and i wore a polka dot shirt. 

We ate all round food like for breakfast we had pancakes and sausage patties, for lunch we had round sandwiches, for dinner we had pizza, and for dessert we had pie of course.

Even when I went out side to have some fun we used round things like hula hoops and we blew bubbles.

 

 

Mom gave me a photo challenge where went around the house and tried to find the first 9 numbers of pi, 3.1415926.

IF: chicken................. and my other art!

So for Illustration Friday the thing was chicken so i just thought i would do baby chickens it is simple but it works

and this i did a few days ago i like this one this is not for Illustration Friday but i wanted to show it to you too :)

Playing with Mom's camera

So I wanted to take some pictures with mom's camera.   I thought may be if I take some stuff and put it on a white bowl in front of the canvas I might get a good picture and with the help from the Lightscoop I could get a good picture at night.
